Alma, This project was awesome in that it helped me (and you) see beyond the popular trends found in the literature to explore the real issues that exist within the gaps in the literature.
Upon completion of our degrees (mine is over at the end of next week! PRAISE GOD!), we will all have to continue to explore and review the literature in our area of interest. Who knows...maybe each of us will be inspired to put together research of our own to answer some of these questions in the near future.
Alma-I appreciate your comments. I agree professional development should be modeled after the changes schools want to see. At times, professional development jumps too fast. The PD workshops seem disconnected and go into the next phase before the first phase has been mastered. If time is not provided to put new technology inofrmation to work, all the new skills will be lost or at the very least, delayed. I also agree that schools with stronger professional development plans will have better results.
